Mary Jo Kopechne: A Sadder Anniversary Than Nadia's

Loyal reader Stoo reminds me that today is the 37th anniversary of the day Mary Jo Kopechne met her sad end.

American Heritage has the full, cut-and-dried story of what happened at Chappaquiddick.

Ian Schwartz recounts the event, here.

Grouchy Old Cripple memorializes Kopechne, who would have been 66 this year.

The Right Stuff says, "I'd Still Rather Hunt With Dick Cheney."
