In a week or so Stephen will be attending the "largest gathering of Hollywood Republicans" ever assembled in one place. But does it matter? Would you vote for someone or be more inclined to vote for someone - simply because someone you admired greatly was supporting them? Does George Clooney or Angelina Jolie sway your vote, what about athletes, or supermodels? What about Rick Warren, James Dobson, or your own pastor? This week convention season will be kicking off and one VP nominee has already been named, Barack Obama taking Joe Biden. 2. "Is 6 the new 14?"
This week Kevin was talking to the Lovely Bride, not long ago they had been watching television and a scene from the "Devil Wears Prada" popped up. In the particular scene Stanley Tucci says to Anne Hathaway, "Zero is new 2, and 2 is the new 4." Hathaway responds, "We'll I'm a size 6." To which Tucci responds, "which is the new 14." This began a discussion between KMC and TLB concerning the responsibility of movie producers for the messages being sent to girls about being uber-skinny. Do scenes like the one just cited actually push girls in unhealthy ways? Especially when the movie is targeted to women? 800.345.9622 what's YOUR opinion?
