Hitting OBAMA where it counts...
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 9:35 AM

For reasons that I can't fully go into just yet I happen to have some heads up on some things brewing in the family values/social conservative movement.

For instance today in multiple states someone is FINALLY calling Obama's inconsistent and dishonest bluff from his Father's Day speech a couple of weeks ago.

Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council hits him hard in a brand new television ad that couldn't begin to put the matter any more succinctly. Check it out, and pass it on:

The truth is, Barack Obama DOES know when life begins, he knew it the first time Michelle told him she was pregnant with their first daughter. The truth also is that he has violated his own conscience, Biblical truth, God's will, and basic reality in order to embrace the opportunity to become the most powerful man on the planet.

A difficult temptation to be sure...

But let's be clear - he's lying to himself and the world around him... and that my friend should give us all pause on what we will accept from the man applying for the job!

After all we're not hiring him for the night manager's slot at McDonald's...

Shame on THOMAS NELSON!
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 8:15 AM

Shame on him, and shame on his publisher - Thomas Nelson. Even a casual, cursory understanding of either the Christian faith, or the candidacy of Barack Obama would have easily demonstrated how at ODDS the two are.

For shame...

oops... AIDS is mostly a "GAY" thing after all...

Behavior can save your life!

The World Health Organization has finally done it. They've gone and told the truth about the extent of the AIDS/HIV world "pandemic." The news is - that outside of sub-Saharan Africa where tribal myths are taught that in order to rid oneself of the virus you must rape a virgin - outside of THAT - there IS no pandemic of HIV for people who behave as God intended when it comes to sexual expression.

Of course we've known this for 20 years, and why the WHO is just now copping to it seems strange to me.

The sad part of the new WHO report is that even though the price in HIV-retroviral drugs have gotten so inexpensive - some as little as .89 per dose that those children in Africa who have been raped - still aren't getting the drugs they need.

That's one of the reasons why the Lovely Bride and I support Compassion International - and one of the children we sponsor is an HIV designee...

Israel at 60: Strong Democratic Ally or Festering, Open "Sore"?
Posted by: Tom DeLay at 8:19 AM

That liberals are openly questioning Israel’s likelihood of survival should, ironically, give friends of Israel reason to relax. From environmental catastrophe to the effectiveness of welfare programs for inner city families, liberals are notoriously bad about predicting the future.

And yet, as the only stable democracy in the Middle East turns 60, and as she enjoys a level of prosperity and internal stability unprecedented in its history, Israel has rarely faced greater uncertainty.  The increasingly likelihood of a nuclear Iran has introduced a whole new level of instability into a region not known for its genial methods of conflict resolution.  The increasing oil wealth of Israel’s hostile neighbors means millions of unaccounted dollars are now being funneled into the hands of unpleasant people. The increasing attractiveness of extreme forms of Islam among Arab youths obviously doesn’t bode well for the nation that ideology is committed to destroying.  Meanwhile, anti-Semitism has become more fashionable in elite society than any time since kristallnacht.

And yet… Israel shows no signs of going anywhere.  Its birthrate is higher than the United States, a sign of great social optimism despite obvious hardships.  Its economy continues to grow. Its citizens have now lived through another war with one of their belligerent neighbors and show no signs of weakening resolve.  If anything, the current generation of Israelis has shown even more pluck and determination than the last.  For this, Israel and Israelis should not only be congratulated and admired – they should feel a constant embrace from the United States, its leaders, and its people.

Someone has apparently forgotten to pass this information along to Senator Barack Obama.  In an interview with The Atlantic, the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee called Israel a “constant wound … a constant sore [that] does infect all of our foreign policy.”  On one level, this is traffic-stoppingly stupid.  What’s wrong with this guy?  We’re told ad nauseum he’s the greatest political communicator of his generation, and his idea of a balanced and nuanced position is to compare a threatened ally in a crucial region to a festering, open sore?  It’s no longer an open question as to whether Senator Obama is ready prime time: he’s not.

But far worse than the idiocy of the statement is its offensiveness.  Put simply, would Senator Obama have even flirted with such insulting language were he talking about China, Cuba, or Saudi Arabia?  Meanwhile, in the same “constant sore” interview, Obama reaffirmed his commitment to “opening a dialogue” with regimes that sponsor terrorism, kill Americans, and promise the destruction of Israel.

What can we do about it?  The answer isn't easy and requires our action.  First, we must educate our friends and family on an issue that many voters overlook - how we treat our allies, not just our enemies. Statements like this are beyond irresponsible: they foreshadow the foreign policy of a potential future administration.  Secondly, keep Israel and her people in your prayers and in your political action as they celebrate this great anniversary of Independence.  And third, make sure Senator Obama knows that just because Israel is small and Israelis can't vote for him, that they do have a voice among their allies here in the U.S.  Call his office and let him know how offensive these comments were, and ask him to retract his statement. Here's his number: (202) 224-2854.  And make sure you call - emails are too passive and can easily be ignored, but a phone ringing off the hook is a sign that we're paying attention, and we stick up for our friends.

Hillary's Hallucinations...
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 5:27 PM
Hillary Clinton speaks as her husband Bill Clinton watches
sore loser

Think about something for a moment. Dr. Jeremiah Wright RE-APPEARS, says even more darn loony things than he did before. Obama gets a whole week of horrid press out of the deal and even more questions get raised about Ayers, Rezko, etc.

Consider that polls showed Hillary surging during that time in North Carolina (where believe it or not she did take the lead briefly) AND in Indiana.

Consider that 25% of GOP voters in Indiana did NOT vote for their nominee - which means the power of Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" was in full effect HELPING Hillary...

Consider that she challenged, cajoled, and egged on the Obama campaign on anything she could think of...

Consider that she won Indiana by barely 18,000 votes in a state where roughly 1.2 million votes were cast...

Consider that for the THIRD time in the election cycle she had to borrow money today ($6 million) to keep her campaign moving ahead... and Obama raised another $40 million or so from donors in the last month...

Consider that Obama has landed Super-delegates at the rate of 5 to 1 since Super Tuesday...

Now consider that within the last hour Hillary still insisted that she was the "stronger candidate" to face John McCain...

Considering all of that - I have come to the conclusive belief...

That Hillary Clinton and Paula Abdul must frequent the same crack dealer!

Action Points: The Rocky-est of the Pennsylvania Primary
Posted by: Tom DeLay at 7:05 AM

Is there a more inspiring movie than Rocky?  Everyone knows and loves the story of the underdog boxer seizing his once-in-a-lifetime chance to fight for the world heavyweight championship.  This year’s Democrat presidential primary is turning out just like the first bout between Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed.  It’s a grueling match in which neither fighter gives an inch, nor can he can knock the other out.  Remember, Rocky lost that match, yet went on to become a great champion in sequels, while Apollo kept his belt but never won another fight.

The question conservatives should be asking is this: will the Democrats’ grueling, 15-round presidential primary produce a washed up champion or a colossus?  Many conservatives are giddy about the bloodletting now between Senators Obama and Clinton, excited about poll numbers giving John McCain a fighting chance to beat them in November.  The conventional wisdom is that this long, drawn-out fight will weaken the eventual nominee.  I’m not so sure.  It seems to me that as much fun as we’re all having watching Clinton and Obama gut-shoot each other across the country all spring, there are more important things to do.  Two, to be specific.

First of all, conservatives need to remember everything Clinton and Obama have said since their grudge match turned ugly about three months ago.  When the dust settles and one of them emerges as the Democrat nominee, we cannot allow them a honeymoon period to sweep all the ugliness of primary season under the rug.  Barack Obama’s minister is an anti-American bigot, and Obama refused to condemn the man’s ministry of hate or apologize for generously funding it.  Hillary Clinton is an unrepentant liarthe Bosnian sniper scandal only the latest example – whose inability to manage her campaign, her staff, and her sociopath husband should give pause to anyone who thinks there’s no difference between the choices this November.

Opinion sites like this one, as well as other conservative blogs, the Republican National Committee, and even Democrat researchers are going to be valuable resources for cataloguing all the misinformation and media spin that will follow the Democrats’ nominating convention.  When the general election campaign begins in earnest and Clinton or Obama try to reframe their image for the American people, conservatives need to be armed with – and motivated by – the ugly truth.

Second, conservatives need to rally around the most conservative candidate remaining in the presidential contest, John McCain.  My differences with Senator McCain are many and well known, but the fact of the matter is that he cannot defeat Clinton or Obama with conservatives grumbling on the sidelines.  We cannot sit back and hope or expect Democrats to lose this election – we have to go out and win it.

We cannot know whether the Democrats’ slug-fest will leave their nominee bloodied and bruised, or if he’ll have a knock-out punch with John McCain’s name on it, but we do know this – whoever the nominee is, he’s going to have one helluva tough jaw.

Barack Obama
Hardcore LEFTIST!

Hope? Change? Something never before seen? A new hybrid in Washington that will completely reverse all the trends towards partisanship?

Uh... not really...

Actually - Obama is just another hardcore marxist who likes to fancy himself a phrase turner in the style of MLKJr.

And sometimes he lies about it...

(God FORGIVE me for this...) "LEAVE PELOSI ALONE!"

She's just playing fair?

Just saw the most recent report on Fox News this morning with Jane Skinner and some dude from Roll Call on the Hillary "Donor" gripes about Pelosi's rather public role in the question of the super-delegates.

The pundit must have been a Hillary hack because he kept talking about how obvious it was that Pelosi wanted to see Barack Obama win the Democrat nomination.

So I wonder if I am the only one who sees this issue as being fairly innocent for Pelosi?

See I tend to see things like 20 Hillary thugs (eh donors) sending the sitting Speaker of the House (the third most powerful seat of Government in the nation) telling her to basically, "shut the heck up" as some what infringing upon her 1st Amendment rights.

The Roll Call moron argued that because of her position she should take a back seat in the public discussion.

Why? So that BILL CLINTON can cheat the scales heavily?

Why wouldn't the democratic party want their highest elected office holder making it clear that she advocates for fairness in staying with the election process?

Isn't that what we used to call leadership?

ALL Pelosi has argued for is that the super-delegates should more or less follow the will of the dedicated delegates, which we can all assume is reflective of the voter's will. Can't we?

Pelosi seems to me to have been very even-handed in her rationale for the behavior of how super-delegates should proceed. In essence it seems to me she has argued for fairness in the process.

I was in the car yesterday listening to Rush, and he kept referring to Hillary's new soundbyte where she argues that even the dedicated delegates don't have to vote for the candidate they have been dedicated too.

UNBELIEVABLE!

The Clinton's are losing this battle, and God help us all, finally exiting the stage of political office for good. But they will try to cheat, bend, intimidate, manipulate and Vince Foster us all if necessary to see their goals achieved, and this thuggish note to Pelosi is just the most recent example...

Lee Habeeb "OUTED" as producer of OBAMA VIDEO...

"Don't tell me words don't matter!"

Jonathan Martin thinks he's stumbled across some big conspiracy. (YAWN!!!) I know it may come as news to you but guess what; we conservative media types - LOVE the new emerging technologies. So a "prominent conservative talk radio producer" has just as much right to be involved with YouTube and crafting original videos that make a rather excellent point - as anyone else does.

Anyway - check out Habeeb's work above. It rocks!

(VIDEO) Liberal Democrat: "OBAMA blew it!"
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 10:48 PM

It hurts to know that Obama is such a huckster that he's fooling even some of my own relatives. The blinded who get suckered into "hope and change" and have literally no idea what he means.

Of course I predicted it all in December of 2006, I guess we just always hold out hope that people we're related to are smarter than the rest of the lemmings going over the cliff.

Anyway... I thought Juan's observations are some vindication of my own thoughts on Obama's speech today...
