Poll
Who won Tuesday's presidential debate?

In one of the most telling moments of this primary campaign season, Brian Williams of NBC News, went out of his way to smear Mitt Romney and denigrate his religion, and none of the other Republican candidates on the stage bothered to come to his defense.

During last week’s GOP debate in Boca Raton, Florida, Williams exercised all the subtlety of David Duke when he dropped this bigoted statement on the former Governor from Massachusetts: “Governor, we’ve got an NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll coming out in the morning that says, among a lot of other things, 44 percent of respondents say a Mormon president would have a difficult time uniting the country.”

Uniting the country? Has NBC News decided that the United States is now a theocracy and must be united under a single religious banner? Was Williams channeling Abraham Lincoln and trying to unite the North and South? Or was he talking about uniting the country into believing fictitious polls?

The media manipulation inflicted on both sides during this primary season has been premeditated, dangerous, and outrageous. That two of the most far-left “news” organizations in the country would get together to draft a prejudiced question designed to illicit a preordained response in time to use it against Romney just before the critical Florida primary, demonstrates that they not only have no shame, but could care less who objects to their calculated tactics.

The NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll was manufactured by the same liberal franchise which declared, before one vote was cast, or one mile was traveled on the campaign trail, that highly experienced candidates like Duncan Hunter, Chris Dodd, Joe Biden, and Bill Richardson were “bottom-tier,” and should not be taken seriously or given any real time during the debates. These are the same “journalists” who inserted a freshman senator from Illinois with barely one year of experience, into the “top-tier,” declared that he would win New Hampshire in a landslide, and that Hillary Clinton would be exiting soon. These are the same “journalists” who state that if so and so candidate does not win the next primary, then he or she “is gone.”

Clearly, the mainstream media has not shown a reluctance to try and jury-rig the system. That said, one would have thought injecting an intolerant question aimed at Romney’s faith – a subject that has been attacked repeatedly by Mike Huckabee and others – would have been beyond the pale at this stage of the campaign. Especially since Romney addressed the issue in a major speech almost two months ago at the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library at College Station, Texas.

Other than hurting Romney right before the Florida primary, what would be the motivation of Williams? I have a great deal of trouble believing that he would have ever said, “…44 percent of respondents say a Jewish president would have a difficult time uniting the country,” or “…44 percent of respondents say a Muslim president would have a difficult time uniting the country.” Such words would never cross his politically correct lips. Subject: Will, if you're still around
Obama has been our state senator for nearly a year, I live in Illinois. The only thing noteworthy he accomplished before the MSM guided him to run for POTUS was his vote to have newborns die that weren't aborted and are under the 9 month mark in the womb. Also, his property scandal with Tony Rasko (sp) who is also now currently in jail.

I'm sure Obama is a nice guy and a smart kid. He has an excellent speech writer and he performs his lines quite well. I had a professor who was a great writer and orator too, but in no way was he equipped to handle running the world's most powerful country with the world's most powerful military during these shaky times, and neither is Obama.

Obama is a lounge act, and a lounge act in a $700 suit is still a lounge act in a $700 suit. He has pretty talk and is milking the JFK and MLK reference for those who weren't a part of the march or the eras of those times. You're swooning, and that's all right to feel great and inspired.

But feeling great and inspired isn't going to cut our taxes, raise our economy, secure our borders and deal with extremists. That is something Obama cannot and will not do.

What he will do is increase our taxes to the breaking point for entitlement programs. Once these entitlement programs have lost their true meaning, we still will be paying for it and more. All we will be doing and future generations will be doing is paying off these programs.

As far as my choice, in the begining I was a Fred Head before he ran. I became quite disenchanted with his campaign style up until SC, but he lost. Oddly, I took a test to see which candidate suits my needs and wants and it turned out to be Romney 100%. Go figure. But yes, I do like Romney very much and I feel although he may not try to slide on inspiration like Obama, Romney presents himself as the most capable and sincere one to run this country effectively with positive changes.

War hero vs. Corporate CEO
Republican's would rather vote for a corporate CEO type than a war hero who actually served his country and whose children served their country rather than CEO Romney who neither served nor any of his children. Admit it, you would rather k---the a-- of Wall Street than really serve the country.
