Garthwaite oversees the Townhall.com site, working directly with over 50 nationally syndicated columnists and more than 20 columnists to promote Townhall's principles through this emerging medium. Prior to Townhall.com's spin-off in 2005, he worked at The Heritage Foundation beginning in 1995 and served in several Internet-related capacities including: Director & Editor of Townhall.com, Director of Online Communications, where he managed Heritage’s web presence at heritage.org and Heritage's Intranet at heritage.net. Prior to Heritage, Mr. Garthwaite coordinated the Internet site for the Leadership Institute, and assisted Colorado State Representative Mark Paschall. Garthwaite received his B.S. from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.
