Matt Kobli threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns and Ryan Hitchcock accounted for three scores to lead Butler in a 56-7 rout over Campbell on Saturday. The Bulldogs (4-1, 2-0 Pioneer Football League) jumped out to a 21-0 lead in teh first quarter after Kobli connected with Dan Bohrer for a 5-yard touchdown, Hitchcock scored on a 4-yard run and Eddie McHale's 10-yard touchdown catch from Kobli, who completed 23 of 29 passes in the game. Hitchcock, who rushed for 109 yards on 11 carries, also caught a 22-yard touchdown in the second quarter and had a 20-yard rushing score in the third to put Butler ahead 42-7. Bohrer had nine catches for 101 yards and Donte Wiggins had two rushing scores. Wesley Snow was 9-of-18 passing for 57 yards, threw one touchdown and an interception for the Camels (1-6, 0-4). |
