Butler easily handles Campbell

Why did Republicans lose in the 2008 elections?



Matt Kobli threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns and Ryan Hitchcock accounted for three scores to lead Butler in a 56-7 rout over Campbell on Saturday.

The Bulldogs (4-1, 2-0 Pioneer Football League) jumped out to a 21-0 lead in teh first quarter after Kobli connected with Dan Bohrer for a 5-yard touchdown, Hitchcock scored on a 4-yard run and Eddie McHale's 10-yard touchdown catch from Kobli, who completed 23 of 29 passes in the game.

Hitchcock, who rushed for 109 yards on 11 carries, also caught a 22-yard touchdown in the second quarter and had a 20-yard rushing score in the third to put Butler ahead 42-7. Bohrer had nine catches for 101 yards and Donte Wiggins had two rushing scores.

Wesley Snow was 9-of-18 passing for 57 yards, threw one touchdown and an interception for the Camels (1-6, 0-4).
