DeMarcus Moon rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown to lead Charleston Southern to a 29-20 victory over Savannah State on Saturday.

The Buccaneers (3-3) scored 20 second-quarter points and held the Tigers (3-4) to a second-half touchdown to hold onto the victory.

Gerald Stevenson and T.J. Lattimore also rushed for touchdowns and Markus Murry caught a 27-yard touchdown pass from A.J. Toscano for Charleston Southern.

Savannah State's Kurvin Curry was 17-for-29 for 181 yards and touchdown passes of 15, 7 and 13 yards. He also threw two interceptions and was held to 35 yards rushing on 20 carries.

J.D. Hollinger caught eight passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers.

Curry's third touchdown pass, a 13-yarder to Hollinger, cut the lead to 26-20 with 13:14 remaining in the game, but Charleston Southern's John Paglia kicked a 20-yard field goal with 4:59 left to seal the victory.
