Why did Republicans lose in the 2008 elections?

Ohio University (2-6, 1-3 MAC) used 203 yards passing from quarterback Boo Jackson and a trio of second-half field goals to overcome 336 yards of total offense from Golden Flashes quarterback Julian Edelman in the Bobcats 26-19 victory Saturday afternoon over Mid-American Conference rivals Kent State (1-6, 0-3).

Jackson got the Bobcats on the board first with his legs, running nine yards to the end zone for a 7-0 lead with 3:30 left in the first quarter.

But Edelman did the most rushing damage, finishing with a game-high 136 yards on 21 carries.

The Kent State quarterback also threw for 200 yards _ including an 82-yard scoring strike to receiver Shawn Bayes _ completing 15 of 25 passes with two interceptions and a touchdown. Bayes finished with 141 yards on five receptions.

Ohio running back Donte Harden finished with 115 yards on 23 carries.

The Bobcats' kicker Barrett Way went 4-for-4, including a 47-yarder in the third quarter.
