Swag on the HOT MKH
Townhall is cheating. I can't get enough MKH. I would watch her shop for groceries.

Love the Ham!
And most people use the word SNAFU without ever knowing it's an acronym. Hospitality suite tour next, I hope, MK!

Ushanka Hat
Hey MKH, thanks for wearing our Ushanka hat at CPAC. Remember, the Dems have adopted 2/3 of Lenin's platform: 1) Get the country out of an unpopular war, 2) Spread electricity across the country, 3) Enact Universal Health Care. We saw how well that went! Karl - ushanka.us

Two Questions MKH
What was the ACLU doing at CPAC? I'd think they'd be afraid the "dirty people" would soil them.

And, what did you do with all that stuff when you were done? I did something similar at the '96 convention and ended up throwing most of it away (though I do still have a couple of Dole/Kemp ballcaps).

swag
JDW, You're right about the origin of the expression, but like many such, it's long forgotten and her use of it carries NONE of the moral implications you attribute to her. SWAG predates 'mafia thug talk' (a product mostly of movies) by hundreds of years. In Australia, the swagman is the escaped convict carrying his bag of swag as he roams the countryside and evades the law... but even there, the guy is a cultural icon and sort of an Australian hero. Every convict, after all, is one who ran afoul of the hated English and was punished by them with exile to Australia. That was a badge to wear in those days, and in Australian lore today it still is. JDW you're a source of incredible stuff, but methinks you took this one too far. :-) Dave P
