Obama's Top Five Tax Hikes
Obama presidential agenda contains a long string of tax hikes. CORRECTION: Obama would double the taxes on capital gains from 15 to 29 percent. I misspoke. Thanks! -Amanda

Cap gains is 15%
I thought she said '59%' too. But the current capital gains tax is 15% and he wants to raise it to 29% which all wall streeters say would crush the stock market. We need more pieces like this about how much money these new politicians are going to take from us. This year's Federal Budget is 3 trillion dollars. 3 trillion dollars should be enough money to run a government that is not supposed to do that much. 850 billion in foreign aid? Why do we have to shoulder the burden? If we are so bad and need so much change, why are we so willing to give? Why haven't all the other 'not so bad' countries given aid (like our friends Saudi Arabia)? Nobody is asking these other countries to change. They just want our change and dollar bills and anything else they can con from us 'because we are so bad'.

He is just as bad as he can be
Obama's idea of change is to make the country a liberal bastion. He doesn't talk about it but he is.

Whatever
WTH!?! Ms. Carpenter, you just said that Obama would change the cap gains tax from 59% to 29%. This is completely inaccurate. Not only because you've transposed the numbers (Obama wants to tax people hard who make capital gains... it should have been 'from 29% to 59%'). You should have included the fact that the majority of us pay only 15% on capital gains, currently. More importantly, I'd like to know what Obama's plans are for us. Regardless, I love it when you smile after you are done speaking. It suggests a southern (ie - superior) upbringing :).
